The challenge
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) is a severe, cyclical condition that can go unrecognised or be mistaken for other mental health difficulties. Its assessment and management require an understanding of symptom patterns, differential diagnosis and appropriate clinical pathways.
